Sandbox 1: Single Site Testing
- 100% grant funding of eligible costs. Available up to RM250,000 disbursed on a milestone basis.

Sandbox 2: Multiple Site Testing
- 70% grant funding of eligible costs with remaining 30% self-funded. Available up to RM500,000 disbursed on a milestone basis
- Sandbox activities at multiple sites.
- Maximum 6 months project duration.
- For technology validation, market validation & regulatory compliance activities.
Commercialisation Stage
Sandbox 3: Commercialisation Fund
- 70% funding (grant + convertible promissory note) of eligible cost. Available up to RM4,000,000 disbursed on a milestone basis.
- Commercialisation of validated technologies/products.
- Maximum of 18 months project duration.
- For commercialisation activities.
Sandbox 4: Corporate Fund
- 1:1 Matching funding between MTDC and approved corporate partner
- For validation or commercialisation activities
- Duration depending on project requirements
